Abstract: |
An archaeoloigcal desk-based assessment was undertaken of the site prior to proposed residential development. The assessment indicated that the proposed development area may have included part of a Saxon cemetery and Bronze Age site. The most likely area for this was the north-west quarter of the farmyard. The site was also within the medieval core of Glaston. Therefore the site had considerable archaeological potential. The report indicated that further archaeological investigation may be required across the site. [Au(adp)] |
