Abstract: |
Archaeological observation of groundworks associated with the laying of a high voltage cable, revealed three undiagnostic worked flint flakes, and 1 very weathered fragment of possible bronze age pottery, demolished post-medieval farm buildings at Mill Rigg farm, late Pleistocene and Holocene fluvial deposits and infilled palaeochannels near Mill Rigg farm, overlain in places by 19th/20th century dumps of soil.
