Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the groundworks associated with the development of a cemetery extension immediately adjacent to Keynsham Cemetery. No significant archaeological remains were recorded although some pottery dating from the Romano-British period was recovered in topsoil and subsoil contexts. These finds could be attributed to the Romano-British activity associated without the adjacent Durley Hill Roman Villa. [Au(adp)] |
