Abstract: |
An earthwork survey of the site showed that ridge and furrow was present on 50% of the site area. A small portion of the medieval fishpond, which gives the site its name, survived, although this had silted up. The size of the ridge and furrow indicated a pre-enclosure date and may have concealed other features. [Au(abr)] |
