Abstract:
A watching brief was undertaken within an area of archaeological interest which lay within a component of the Roman town of Kenchester. The aim of the exercise was to locate archaeological deposits and to determine their extent, state of preservation, date and type as far as reasonably possible. Post medieval and modern finds were located, there was no evidence to suggest Roman activity in that part of the town. [AIP]
