Abstract: |
A two-day evaluation was carried out in the garden of a house. Previous excavations in Croydon had produced evidence of continued occupation and usage from prehistoric to late medieval times. A single trench was excavated, and some struck flints and medieval pottery were recovered from an agricultural soil. No features were identified, and it was concluded that no significant archaeological evidence was present. [Au(abr)] |
