Abstract: |
A programme of archaeological works uncovered the possible remains of two 14th century buildings which were probably outbuildings associated with Palmers Hall. These were situated in the north-western part of the site. A stone yard surface adjacent to Palmers Hall must also be contemporary with the building complex. From the medieval period onwards the north-eastern part of the site was utilised as a garden. [Au(abr)] |
