Abstract: |
An evaluation trench was excavated on the site of a proposed visitor centre. One feature, a ditch/trench, was noted. No finds were recovered from it so dating was impossible. Post-medieval finds were recovered and it has been postulated that the feature is contemporary with the establishment of the park. It is likely the feature represents the remains of a robbed out stone wall trench. [Au(adp)] |
