Abstract:
A cultural heritage desk-based assessment was completed on the site that had planning permission for the construction of an urban roadstone-coating factory. The site was within an area with a known potential for the presence of features of archaeological interest representing Bronze Age to Romano-British occupation. However, it is highly likely that 20th century development would have disturbed any archaeological remains. It was therefore considered that no further archaeological investigation was required.
