Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a development site, following on from recommendations made within an earlier desk-based assessment. The site was found to have been generally undisturbed by modern activity, although concrete and rubble overlay the natural brickearth within three of the twelve trenches excavated. No evidence of archaeological activity was identified. It was concluded that remains of archaeological significance were unlikely to have existed at the site, and that no further archaeological work would be necessary. [AIP] |
