Abstract: |
Potential for the discovery of archaeological remains was high. A large number of Neolithic finds have been found in the area, as well as a Bronze Age bowl barrow and associated finds. A number of undated ring-ditches have also been recorded through aerial photography. There were also late prehistoric/early Roman field systems in the area, as well as a Roman Road, surfaces and settlements. The potential of survival of known and unknown remains was judged to be good. [Au(adp)] |
