Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of an environmental screening bund. A modern ditch was revealed and several undated features and possible features were recorded, which included gullies, post holes and two pits. One of the pits contained fragments of burnt bone and burnt flint, whilst a gully contained two undated tile fragments. No other artefacts were recovered. It was recommended that a watching brief should be carried out during topsoil stripping within the area of the site where features had been observed. [AIP] |
