Abstract: |
The archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken in order to predict the nature of the archaeological resource in the area around the camping and caravan site. The site was previously part of RAF Clifton Moor and was covered by buildings, a dispersal point and part of the perimeter track. The site was within an area of known prehistoric field systems and medieval occupation at Rawcliffe Manor and Roman Marching Camps on Clifton Moor. [Au(abr)] |
