Abstract: |
A report of the archaeological implications of the new Townwall Filling Station, which lies within Archaeological Zone F and so has considerable potential, was compiled. The study examined both published and unpublished documents and field evidence, and reported on the prehistoric, Roman and medieval evidence for the Early Harbour Basin, as well as the medieval Town Wall and medieval and post-medieval occupation.
