Abstract: |
<summary>In response to a proposal for a housing development on the disused Winnall Allotments, an evaluation was undertaken prior to finalisation of development plans. The site was in close proximity to a number of archaeological sites of varying periods. A number of trenches were cut revealing post holes, pits and a ditch, which all contained Bronze Age pottery. Other undated ditches were also noted.
