Abstract: |
An archaeological surface collection survey was carried out in advance of the proposed extension to a large mineral-extraction site. The area examined lay on the eastern edge of the island of Wormegay. A sparse scatter of burnt flint and prehistoric 'pot boilers' was recovered along with quantities of post-medieval material. A possible former course of the Rover Nar was also observed. [Au] |
