Abstract: |
There was thought to be little evidence for surviving archaeological remains at the site. A possible Bronze Age river crossing may have existed, and the site was thought to be rural in the medieval period. Extensive redevelopment in the post-medieval and modern periods would have truncated most remains. [Au(adp)] |
