Abstract: |
The watching brief revealed human remains, which ranged from disarticulated, unstratified ones, to partial and complete burials. Some seven such burials, aligned east west were uncovered. Several brick tombs were also present. No further significant archaeological features or deposits were observed and no physical evidence of a structure predating the present church was revealed during work on the chancel and walls.
