Abstract: |
<summary>The site of a proposed golf course development was the subject of a desk-based assessment and field scanning exercise. Late prehistoric or Roman field systems were located across the northern part of the site, and suggested the potential for settlement or other activity of similar date elsewhere within the development area. Four discrete concentrations of archaeological material, comprising two areas of settlement or industrial activity of Roman date, one area of Neolithic activity, and one area of Bronze Age activity, were identified during field scanning. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
