Abstract: |
<summary2>The survey programme has accurately surveyed and recorded over 12,000 archaeological monuments. Six main areas have been examined: South-Western Fells, Western Fells, Central Fells, Shap and Askham Fells, Caldbeck Fells, and Heathwaite Fell. No further surveys or fieldwork were undertaken this year and the resource from English Heritage and the Lake District Special Planning Board was used to complete the survey archive and to prepare a monograph publication of the survey results. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 125 |
