Abstract: |
<summary>Excavation of test-pits and sample-trenches on a site close to the centre of the medieval village of Stratton St Margaret revealed that mounds and hollows situated on the site did not represent settlement remains, but were of geological origin. A bank, boundary ditches and gullies, representing the remains of agricultural activity, were revealed and residual deposits of medieval pottery and animal bone recovered. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
