Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out on the proposed site of a terrace of houses. The site lay within an archaeological priority area. Prehistoric flint tools had been recorded to the north and ponds belonging to the Archbishop of Canterbury's Palace had lain adjacent to the site. No datable finds were recovered, and no archaeological deposits were discovered other than those relating to the construction of houses in 1883. No further work was deemed necessary. [AIP] |
