Abstract: |
A single trench was excavated across the site in order to fulfil a condition upon planning permission for the construction of a two storey dwelling. It contained stratified archaeological deposits dating from the medieval period up to the 19th century. There was also evidence of human occupation. Features that could be interpreted as animal pens were also discovered, suggesting that animal husbandry was conducted. [Au(adp)] |
