Abstract: |
<summary>Desk-based assessment and field survey were undertaken on the site of a proposed golf course. The area is rich in remains from all periods and has a high archaeological potential. Within the study area are a number of significant sites, most notably a Roman road, whose line cannot be proven. Other sites include a possible 17th century farmhouse and post-medieval industrial workings. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 614 |
