Abstract:		 <summary>An evaluation was undertaken on ancient burgage plots on land to the south of Fore Street, Bodmin, the site of a proposed new car park. Field survey, test-pits and trial-sections revealed that the boundaries dividing the burgage plots, which in the main consisted of simple earth banks with hedges on top, had remained relatively unchanged since the Middle Ages, though some had been enlarged or strengthened. {italon}Sec(abr)(28a){italoff}
