Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the construction of a new cycle route, running from Land's End to Sennen Cove. The work identified several land boundaries, which were found to be simple stone rows above small buried lynchets. Two were on the lines of medieval boundaries and showed signs of rebuild and upkeep. A number of undiagnostic flint flakes and post-medieval sherds of pottery were also found, along with a well-made whetstone. [Au(abr)] |
