Abstract: |
<summary>The Glastonbury Tribunal, a stone-built late medieval town house, was to have its lower floor turned into a tourist information centre, and as such needed a few minor alterations and refurbishments. Small-scale excavations took place adjacent to the west wall of Rooms 3 and 4. A timber building of probable 12th century date lay below the medieval stone foundations. The extent of the burgage plot was surveyed and Room 5 was also resurveyed. It has been noted that this building, a domestic dwelling, has been mis-identified as the tribunal. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
