Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during the installation of a new gas main. No archaeological features were observed, however a variety of artefacts were recovered in the general stratigraphy. This included Roman pottery (including Samian Ware), medieval and post-medieval ceramics medieval building material and 17th century window glass. [AIP] |
