Abstract: |
The geophysical survey was undertaken over approximately 25ha of agricultural land near Kirkstead, and was successful in located a number of anomalies of possible archaeological origin. Magnetic enhancement located through a magnetic susceptibility survey suggested areas of possible archaeological activity which when tested using detailed magnetometer indicated a possible rectilinear enclosure in the north eastern limits of the survey area.
