Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation and subsequent excavation was carried out in advance of the building of a swimming pool. A number of archaeological features were identified including a pit dating to the Earlier to Mid Neolithic period (c.3900-2900BC) and a medieval ditch and pit/gully dating to the 13th or 14th centuries. A further gully of probable medieval date and a large pit dating to the post-medieval period were also recorded. [Au(abr)] |
