Abstract: |
No significant archaeological deposits or structures were disturbed or damaged by the foundation construction. It appeared that the Barn Owl roost occupied an area outside the natural scarp which had been utilised for the hillfort defences. There was no indication of a ditch constructed to provide material for the enhancement of the scarp slope, unlike the north and eastern sides of the fort.[Au(abr)] |
