Abstract: |
No significant archaeological features or deposits were uncovered during the excavation of the foundations for the extension. The sections revealed that the original ground surface had been buried at a depth of about 1 metre below the present ground surfaces. One feature was located, a deep, steep sided pit which had also been backfilled with relatively recent material, and may have represented a well or dene hole.[Au(abr)] |
