Abstract:
Further archaeological evaluation, consisting of the excavation of three trial trenches, was undertaken in advance of the construction of three buildings for light industrial use. Apart from five pieces of burnt flint and one struck flake from trial trench 4, which were residual in disturbed deposits and not indicative of a significant archaeological presence, the evaluation was entirely negative.
