Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was carried out and revealed a total of 48 recorded potential archaeological and historical sites within the study area. Although there were no Scheduled Monuments, there were ten Grade II Listed buildings in the study area, along with a small portion of the Long Preston Conservation Area. There was a low to moderate spread of medieval agricultural archaeology over the site. The potential for buried remains was very high in some areas. A rapid walkover survey indicated that there was a high potential for archaeological remains. [Au(adp)] |
