Abstract: |
The monitored groundwork exposed two large cut features. Both features contained sherds of medieval pottery and probably represented refuse pit cuts. Quantities of medieval pottery were also recovered from both the subsoil and topsoil deposits during the groundwork. No evidence of medieval structures or buildings was identified during the watching brief. [Au(abr)] |
