Abstract: |
An archaeological appraisal was carried out on the proposed route of the replacement sewer and pumping houses. The sewer route was identified as possibly impacting on known and unknown pottery production sites and pottery wasters and kilns may be encountered. One of the pumping stations was identified as being located on the site of a 17th century house and medieval and post-medieval pottery had been recovered from the location. [Au(abr)] |
