Abstract: |
Desk-based assessment and a magnetometer survey of a proposed residential development site within agricultural land were undertaken. Features recorded in the surrounding area included cropmarked sites representing prehistoric or Roman settlements and field systems. Three hollow ways had also been recorded in the vicinity, of which two were possibly of medieval date, and a Roman coin had been found. The geophysical survey identified no significant anomalies.
