Abstract: |
A former smallholding of c.7.5ha., situated north-east of Carminowe Creek, near Helston was surveyed for the National Trust. Recommendations for the conservation/renovation of buildings and landscape features were made. The smallholding comprised an early 20th century bungalow, a range of earlier farm outbuildings and associated enclosures. One of the outbuildings was a former dwelling. The property lay within Anciently Enclosed Land. Larger fields were permanent pasture and smaller enclosures within the valley bottom were overgrown meadows. All the fields had mature hedgerow trees.
