Abstract: |
Archaeological deposits sealed by the subsoil were revealed in three out of five trenches. In the north of the site (Trench 1) a group of pits and a possible remnant soil layer were recorded. A heavily truncated ditch ran across Trench 3 to the west and a narrow gully was associated with pits. These features were largely undated and in general there was a significant lack of artefactual evidence of any kind from either sealed or unstratified contexts.[Au(abr)] |
