Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of a trench for an electrical cable. Previous work and chance finds had established that there was some Roman activity in the vicinity. However, the results of the observation suggested that the area was not extensively used in the Roman and Medieval periods. The area appears to have been dedicated to horticulture and therefore not developed. Finds recovered represented occasional deposits. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
