Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken ahead of the proposed development on the land. The site lay within the area of archaeological potential as highlighted on Hampshire County Council's Hampshire Village Survey (1996). The results of the evaluation provided the following archaeological evaluation about the proposed development site: a) the earliest evidence consisted of a piece of 13th/14th century pottery; b) evidence of two undated demolished structures of flint and cob construction.
