Abstract: |
An archaeological desktop assessment and fluxgate gradiometer survey were undertaken on the c.1ha site prior to any possible residential development. It was concluded that development of the site might have disturbed remains of potential archaeological significance. Such deposits could have dated from any time from the prehistoric period onwards, although it was considered most likely that they would have fallen between the late Saxon and post-medieval periods.
