Abstract: |
The development site lay immediately adjacent to the Church of St Mary Magdalene, Battlefield which was founded in 1406. The church was believed to have been sited on or close to the principle mass grave associated with the battle, and which lay within the moated enclosure surrounding the church. Trial trenching of the site located no significant archaeological features or deposits.[Au(abr)] |
