Abstract: |
In advance of a proposed residential development, six trenches were excavated. Medieval pottery was found across the site, as well as ditches, post-holes, and gullies. An earthwork was bisected in the corner of the site. The evaluation indicated medieval metal working, smelting and smithing, as well as the diet and economy of the population in the form of plant and faunal remains. [Au(abr)] |
