Abstract: |
Eleven trenches were excavated, between 10m and 20m long, to a total length of 200m. Eight trenches were 20m long by 1.8 wide , and three trenches , eight, nine and eleven were combined into one L-shaped trench totalling 40m in length and refered to as trench eight. A pit in this trench produced a single pottery sherd of probable Iron Age date. Trenches three, four, eight and nine contained linear features that produced no diagnostic artefacts. [Au(adp)] |
