Abstract: |
The watching brief revealed extensive deposited of 17th-19th century made ground and demolition debris. These deposits were observed overlying an earlier cultivated soil, possibly medieval in date. Alluvial deposited associated with the River Kennet to the south-east were also recorded at the base of the sequence. [Au(abr)] |
