Abstract: |
A watching brief monitored work associated with foundation trenches for a new technology block, possibly close to the line of a Dover-Richborough Roman road. No archaeological features were recovered. A deposit of colluvium may have been associated with prehistoric farming, and such deposits have often been found to preserve detailed archaeological sequences and palaeoenvironmental evidence.
