Abstract: |
The excavation of two areas covering some 13500-sq. m was undertaken in advance of a major housing development. Six phases of activity were identified. The earliest phase of occupation may have dated from the later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. A phase of early Roman farming activity and evidence for early Anglo-Saxon settlement was also identified. [Au(adp)] |
