Abstract: |
The evaluation trenches were successful in establishing the presence of a series of archaeological features on the site. These seemed to be of medieval and early post-medieval date and included pits, ditches and gullies. At least one of the pits appeared to be associated with rubbish disposal, whilst the ditches and gullies most probably delimited fields and enclosures that lay on the western outskirts of the village.[Au(abr)] |
