Abstract: |
The watching brief found a small number of archaeological features. The earliest features were two pits containing Early/Middle Iron Age pottery. A third undated pit and two possible medieval boundary ditches were also recorded. The features at the site were considered significant for the area, as it indicated broad activity predating the known settlements in the area. [Au(adp)] |
